I don't like homes to look like a showroom. A well-designed room should have oddities. Eclectic is always better - it's less boring.		I err on the side of simplicity and never sacrifice comfort to aesthetics. And I try to give every room a bit of wit.
The opulent look is really about fabrics and textures, rather than a recreation of a period room.		When I design a room, I know exactly what kind of chair should sit where, and you can't always find them. I wanted to create a line that would suite every part of a room and would span across all ages.
